If You Have Called Me the Past Month – Please Read!

July 31, 2011

Hi everyone.  I have come to realize that we have been having some phone problems over this last month.  I use my cell phone for business and personal calls and our phone service has been in and out (out more than in) over the last few weeks.  If you have happened to call me and left a message on my voicemail and I did not return your call please email me at and I will call you as soon as possible.  I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone.  I always return calls within 48 working hours.  If you do not hear back from me within a 48 hour time period please email me to give you a call and I will, or you can leave a comment on this post!  Our phones are still in and out today, I am not sure what the problem is, but I am going to give my cell phone company a call and find out.

Again, very sorry if I have not returned your call, I did not get it on my end.  I will get to everyone as soon as possible!

Sincere Apologies,

A baby is something you carry inside you for nine months, in your arms for three years and in your heart till the day you die.

This session was a lot of fun.  She let me experiment and we tried a bunch of different things, some worked, some didn’t, and we scored some lovely images.  Here is a peek for the K family!  Enjoy 🙂

All About Christy

Christy specializes in custom on location portraiture that will capture your family being themselves. She use the natural light of the sun and available light to capture your photographs. This is especially important when it comes to children and portraits. When a child walks into a portrait studio they will see big lights, reflectors, softboxes, cameras, props and backdrops which can be a bit overwhelming for some kids. When I come to your session it is just me and my camera, a reflector and occasionally a prop or two. I work on location only, as I believe that giving children the freedom to roam around in an outside environment eases them, which results in a more natural and candid portrait. I capture children being themselves. Laughing, playing and goofing around are some of my favorite shots! I don't believe in unnatural and stiff poses. My goal at Christy Marrone Photography is to have fun capturing moments in your family's life and to create for you an art piece you will proudly hang in your home to adore and cherish forever!
